Privacy policy
Last updated 15 September 2026
This privacy policy explains what mingalar360 collects when you use our website and the mingalar360 guest app on Android or iOS, why we use it, and the choices you have. It is written so Google Play, App Store, and guests can see how the product actually works.
Who we are
mingalar360 is a Myanmar wedding marketplace. We help couples discover halls and wedding services, book a hall, pay hall fees with MMQR, and invite guests. Hall and service listings are posted by venue and vendor owners. We operate the website and the guest mobile app.
What this policy covers
It covers the public website, the guest Android and iOS apps, hall booking and MMQR checkout, guest invitations and RSVP, in-app notifications, and customer support. Owner and admin studios on the website are for listing partners and our operations team. Those accounts follow the same core rules below, with extra listing and booking data needed to run a hall or service.
Information we collect
We collect only what we need to run accounts, bookings, payments, invitations, and support:
- Account: email address, password (stored by our auth provider, not in readable form), display name, and a Myanmar contact phone. If you sign in with Google, we receive the Google account email and name you share, then we ask for a contact phone.
- Profile phones you choose to save (for example KPay or Viber numbers).
- Hall bookings: venue, package, date and time, guest count, seating, add-ons, amounts, status, and messages needed to complete the booking.
- Payment records for hall checkout: MMQR / MyanMyanPay transaction reference, amount, currency, status, and installment plan if used. We do not receive or store wallet PINs, OTP codes, or card numbers.
- Payment proof photos you upload (camera or photo library) so a booking payment can be checked.
- Invitation and RSVP details a host enters or a guest submits (name, contact, attendance).
- Device and notification data on the guest app: Expo push token, device platform, app locale, and notification preferences.
- Technical logs: IP address, browser or app version, and error traces needed to keep the service secure and working.
How we use information
We use this information to create and sign you in to your account, show halls and services, complete and update bookings, generate MMQR checkout, notify you about booking and payment status, let hosts invite guests, provide customer support, prevent fraud and abuse, and improve reliability. We do not use your content to train third-party advertising profiles, and we do not sell personal information.
How we share information
We share information only as needed to provide the service:
- Hall and service owners see booking or enquiry details required to host your event (names, phones, dates, packages, guest counts, payment status).
- MyanMyanPay processes MMQR payments. They receive the amount and a payment reference, not your mingalar360 password.
- Supabase hosts authentication, the database, file storage for photos, and realtime updates.
- Expo delivers lock-screen push to the guest app when you allow notifications.
- Our website and API hosts run the product. Google may receive sign-in data if you choose Google sign-in.
- We may disclose information if required by Myanmar law or to protect guests, listing partners, or the platform from fraud or harm.
Payments
Hall fees are paid in the real world with MMQR through MyanMyanPay. This is not Google Play Billing and not an in-app purchase of digital goods. Marketplace services are contacted by phone (“Call now”); we are not taking new in-app service purchases. Historical service orders, if any, stay in your account until you delete it.
Photos, camera, and notifications
The app asks for camera or photo access only so you can attach a payment screenshot. We do not use those photos for ads. The app asks for notification permission so we can send booking, payment, and invitation alerts. You can refuse or later disable notifications in system settings. The in-app inbox still works without lock-screen push.
Cookies and session
The website uses cookies and similar storage to keep you signed in (Supabase session) and to remember locale and catalog view preferences. We do not run a third-party advertising pixel. You can clear cookies in your browser; you will need to sign in again.
How long we keep information
We keep account, booking, payment, invitation, and support records for as long as the account exists and as long as we need them for the booking, payment disputes, and legal accounting. Push tokens are removed when you sign out or the token is invalid. If you delete your account, we delete or anonymise personal profile data we control, except records we must keep for tax, fraud prevention, or law (for example a completed payment reference).
Security
Access to bookings and payments requires a signed-in session. Photos and tokens are stored with our providers under access rules. No internet service is perfectly secure; please use a strong password and do not share OTP or wallet PINs with anyone, including mingalar360 staff.
Children
mingalar360 is for adults planning weddings. It is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly create accounts for children. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us using the office number on this site and we will delete it.
Your choices
You can update your name and phones in Profile. You can turn off lock-screen notifications in the app or system settings. You can delete your guest account from Profile in the mingalar360 Android or iOS app. If you use only the website, contact us with the office number on this site and we will help delete the account. Deleting the account signs you out and removes personal profile data we do not have to retain.
Where information is processed
We serve guests in Myanmar. Some processors (for example authentication, hosting, or push delivery) may store or process data on servers outside Myanmar. By using mingalar360 you understand that your information may be transferred to those processors to operate the service.
Changes
We may update this policy when the product or the law changes. The “Last updated” date at the top will change. Continued use of the website or app after an update means you accept the revised policy.
